Itinerary

When you arrive at Chennai Airport / Railway Station, our driver will pick you and transfer to your hotel. In the Afternoon proceed to visit sightseeing tour of the city like Kapaleshwar Temple, Fort St. George, the Government Museum, and Marina Beach. Back to hotel and overnight stay at Chennai hotel.

Morning after breakfast proceed to Tanjore (325 km /7 hrs), the capital of the Cholas, who were master temple builders.Enroute, visit Mahabalipuram (Pallava's Panch Rathas, Arjun Shilanyas) and Pondicherry (Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Ganesh Mandir). When you arrive at Tanjore, check into the hotel.In the evening, visit the famed Brihadeshwara Shiva Temple (constructed by Chola Kings).Giant Nandi, carved in a single stone, is considered India's second largest.

After breakfast, drive to Trichy (55 km/1.5 hours). Visit Srirangam, the largest temple of Lord Vishnu, located on a 600-acre island between the Kaveri and Kolladam rivers. Later, depart for Rameswaram (226 kms / 5 hrs). When you arrive in Rameswaram (the gateway to Sri Lanka), check in at your hotel and overnight stay at hotel.

Early in the morning, visit the Ramanath Swamy Temple. Take a dip in 22 holy wells and explore Pamban Bridge.
