The Adi Kailash Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage to Lord Shiva’s temple in Uttarakhand, India’s Kumaon area. This 6-7-day spiritual journey takes you through breathtaking landscapes, verdant valleys, and tranquil rivers, with highlights including the natural ‘Om’ symbol on Om Parvat, Parvati Sarovar, and Gauri Kund. The yatra begins in Kathgodam and continues through gorgeous locales such as Pithoragarh, Dharchula, Gunji, and Jolingkong. The best months to visit are May through June and September through October, when temperatures range from 15°C to 24°C during the day and 3°C to -5°C at night. The hike is deemed simple to moderate, making it suitable for families and beginners, however permits are required, which may be obtained from Dharchula. Typical expenses include transportation, meals, lodging, and permits for inner lines.
When we arrive in Haldwani, we begin our trek and have breakfast in Bhimtal. After breakfast, proceed to Pithoragarh. En way, we shall see: Bhimtal's temples include Neem Karoli Baba, Kainchi Dham, Goludevta, and Jaggeshwar.En route lunch, we arrive in Pithoragarh in the evening, have dinner, and spend the night at the hotel.
The next day, after breakfast, we will travel to Dharchula. After reaching Dharchula, the inner line permit and medical work will begin. On the route, stop for lunch before spending the day exploring Dharchula and Nepal. Dinner and overnight stay.
We'll leave Dharchula for Nabi early in the morning. You can also see several Himalayan peaks. The road's beauty provides a thrilling experience. Arrival at Nabi in the evening. Dinner and an overnight stay in a home with a shared bathroom.
We leave NABI village early in the morning to visit Jollingkong and see the heavenly Adi Kailash. Visit the Parvati temple, which is around 2.5 kilometers from our camp site. Here you can see the reflecting image of Mt. Adi Kailash in Gauri Kund/Parvati Sarovar, near the foot of Adi Kailash. We do Spiritual Puja / KoTarpan in the Lord Shiva & Parvati Temple. We shall view Brahma Parvat, Pandava Parvat, Pandav Fortress, and Parvati Mukut. Afternoon lunch at Jollingkong or Kuti Village, followed by sightseeing in Kuti Village, which is named after Mata Kunti. According to legend, Pandavas stopped here on their route to Swarg. Return to Nabi Village in the evening for an overnight stay.
We set out early in the morning for Om Parvat. En route, we will view the Kali temple, Ved Vayas Gufa, and Sheshnag Parvat. On the way, we stop in Kalapani to witness the origin of the Kali River at the Kali Temple and then visit it. After Kalapani, we get at Navidhang, where we see the presence of Om Parvat, a sign of the existence of the Almighty Lord Shiva. We have a dinner break at Navidhang. Then we proceed to Swami Narayan Ashram for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we will drive to Dharchula, then continue to Darma Valley. Overnight stay in Daatu village.
After breakfast, begin your four-kilometer trek to the Panchachuli Glacier base. After a panoramic vista, return to Daatu Viillage. Overnight stay.
Morning after breakfast start your journey to Patal Bhuvneshwar where we can see cave of Patal Bhuvneshwar. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Next day after breakfast We travel to Kathgodam/Haldwani for Drop & Onward journey.
